Faster, easier access to your GP surgery. Helps you avoid unnecessary visits to the Practice.
From Monday, 13 May 2019 we will be changing the way patients access GP appointments at the Practice. You will no longer need to pre-book a GP appointment as any medical matters you present with will be dealt with on the day using AskmyGP.
Ask my GP will make requesting help from your GP easier and for many patients more convenient. You will be able to send a request on any medical matter to your GP during opening hours using the link from our website and a clinician will always aim to respond promptly where possible. All patients have to do to be able to consult online with their clinician is follow a few short, easy steps online to register. There’s never a queue online.
If you do not have access to the internet you can simply call us, our receptionist will need to take some medical details and a clinician will call you back. Patients may not need to attend the practice saving valuable time and reducing the number of missed appointments. If the GP feels a face to face appointment is required then this will be offered to you.
Please note all appointments with our nursing team have remained the same and must be booked in advance.

Patient Benefit Fund
The practice has a benefit fund and patients may wish to make a donation to the surgery. This money is kept in a separate account and is used to provide special equipment to help improve patient care and comfort.
Friends and Family Test
The NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) was created to help service providers and commissioners understand whether their patients are happy with the service provided, or where improvements are needed. It is a quick and anonymous way to give your views after receiving care or treatment across the NHS.
Since its launch in 2013, more than 25 million pieces of patient feedback have been submitted. The FFT has been rolled out across most NHS services, including community care, hospitals, mental health services, maternity services, GP and dental practices, emergency care, patient transport and more.
